POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM IN CHEMISTRY AT WARSAW UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY 2012

Scholarships for Postdoc and PhD Positions in 2012 under TEAM Programme of Foundation for Polish Science at Warsaw University of Technology.

Deadline for applying 9 November 2011.

Requirements for student:
Ph. D.- no more than 4 years from completion of Ph.D in chemistry, publications in international journals are desired, experience in synthesis and characterization of: organometallic complexes with desired functionalities and/or Hybrid organic-inorganic microporous materials and/or their functionalization with biomolecules, good command in English
PhD Students- status of PhD student in chemistry, MSc. degree in chemistry, experience in inorganic and organometallic chemistry, good command in English
Students- completed 3rd year of studies in chemistry, communicativity in English.

Note:
Duration of the project: October 2011 – March 2015 Fields: New materials and technology, nanotechnology, biotechnology and bioengineers
Aim: Synthesis of inorganic and organometallic complexes and study of their reactivity towards small molecules (O2 and H2O); Obtaining and functionality of ZnO nanoparticles for biomedical applications; Hybrid organicinorganic microporous materials with desired functionalities.
