Applicants should have a first or upper second honours degree in psychology or a related discipline.

Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for a PhD Studentship in the Department of Psychology, College of Human and Health Sciences at Swansea University. The Department is a member of the Wales Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience and specialist training is available through the Wales ESRC Doctoral Training Centre. We are keen to attract highly motivated applicants with research interests in cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and/or computational modelling to work with Dr Christoph Weidemann. The successful candidate will use measures of choice responses and brain activity to advance theories on perceptual decision making and memory. Programming experience, experience in EEG data collection and analysis, experience with quantitative methods or a strong interest in acquiring these skills is highly desirable.
